One Year Anniversary of The Next Generation Marketer Website

Next week will mark one year since I first created my website domain tonycorsini.com and this means its time for improvements and upgrades to my site! This website and blog started when I began my transition from finishing up my Marketing degree and entering the professional world. I’ve learned many things over the course of the year as far as creating engaging blog post and providing a creative and attractive website design. I have also grown and matured as a person as well and feel as if I know the path to take in my professional life. I plan to use what I have learned and will start to implement these actions on The Next Generation Marketer website. I hope to educate and inspire via this website as long as I can.

Behold the Power of the Internet

The California ~ Oregon Connection

I wanted to give a shout out and a special THANKS! to Stacy Kozak and her students for reaching out and connecting via my marketing blog.  It’s greatly appreciated and has helped my site grow! I wish them all the BEST!

Stacy is a volunteer at a local community center in the Portland, Oregon area.  Stacy teaches a class of young aspiring business leaders in marketing and one of her students from her class found my page https://tonycorsini.com/helpful-marketingbusiness-resources/ while looking for other resources to share with the class.  Stacy had emailed me and thanked me for creating the page because the students have found some valuable information on there.

While researching, her students had also found 2 other resources that they thought would be of interest to me and I could share on my list of Marketing Resources for readers to appreciate the helpful tips, these included:

  1. “A Guide to Effective Marketing” – http://www.squeezedbooks.com/a-guide-to-effective-marketing.html
  2. “10 Small Business Social Media Marketing Tips” – http://mashable.com/2009/10/28/small-business-marketing/

Through the power of technology via the internet, my blog, and email, Stacy and her class which is 17 hours away from me and my home of Ocean Beach, California were still able to reach out and connect, network, share, and communicate efficiently.  Very few barriers exists when using the internet to reach out, making it an excellent choice of the next generation marketer.

Event Marketing Example Using Social Media

Check out my previous marketing experience as an Events Engagement and Capturing the Experience Division team member.

The Project:

The Ford Focus Pilot Event, was a test drive of the new 2012 Ford Focus where the participant would drive, be recorded and the video would be shared virally. The goal was to re-brand the new 2012 Focus through a physical experience and viral marketing.

The Growing Face of Advertising on YouTube 2012

Great example of the next generation of marketing beginning to take over.  YouTube and similar sites are increasing at a very high rate as YouTube’s global audience hit 800 million users in 2012!  This is one trend that marketers cannot forget, YouTube in my mind will always be a big player in reaching your audience whoever they may be.  NEVER FORGET THIS!
